About Echo Valley Orchards

In the fall of 2006, Joas and Vera Troyer along with Leroy and Warren Yoder purchased the 525 acre farm and orchards nestled in Southern Illinois now known as Echo Valley Orchards. The multi-partner Amish farm is true to its roots, producing high quality peaches and apples as well as strawberries under the brand Echo Valley which the partners purchased along with the original farm. Joas, his three sons, partners and relatives have diversified the farm and greatly expanded production. The orchards have been re-planted with new varieties of peaches and apples. They have diversified into vegetables growing tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, peppers and cabbage. The partners are proud of the land they steward and are happy to grow good nutritious wholesome food.
