Sam Rose

Sam Rose Fresh Cuts takes its name from Sam and Rose Daleo, who began the Daleo family’s legacy in retail and wholesale produce in St. Louis. Following in his parent’s footsteps, Joe Daleo and his wife Louise, began Ole Tyme Produce in 1973 with a small storefront retail location in St. Louis county. After transitioning the business to wholesale distribution, the company moved to historic Produce Row and operated for thirty years (1985-2016).

Since 2016, Ole Tyme Produce has served the regional grocery and produce needs from our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in St. Charles, Missouri. In the spirit of the Daleo family’s origins in the St. Louis produce market, Ole Tyme Produce offers fresh-cut fruits and vegetables under the label Sam Rose, named in honor of our company’s grandparents.

In addition, Ole Tyme is happy to replace the Sam Rose label with a customer’s own logo allowing you to place our amazing fresh-cuts on your shelves while promoting your own brand name to your customers.
