Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Red Bells: Supplies remain tight as California shifts into desert production. An incoming atmospheric river is expected to slow ripening and trigger early harvests ahead of the storm. Limited volume out of Mexico, combined with the end of Canada’s greenhouse season, continues to push prices upward.

Green Bells: Quality and sizing remain strong out of Coachella. However, cooler weather in the Southeast has slowed yields, and Mexico crossings are still light. These factors suggest modest price increases in the coming days.

Expectations:

  • Red Bells: Tight supply continues; rain will slow desert production; limited Mexico volume and the end of Canada’s season are keeping prices elevated.
  • Green Bells: Good quality from Coachella; colder Southeast temps reducing yields; light Mexico crossings likely to nudge prices higher.

Nogales Update:

  • Green Bells: Increased volume anticipated the week of 11/24.
  • Red Bells: Field-pack availability expected to begin in late December to early January.
