Broccoli

Brocolli

Tues, September 9th, 2025

Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Due to recent warm weather in the Salinas Valley, broccoli supplies remain tight this week and into next, as growers face increased insect pressure - particularly from diamondback moths. While temperatures are expected to cool slightly through Thursday, warmer conditions are forecast to return by Friday.

Growers are working diligently to maintain quality and ensure crew safety, though some acreage is being skipped to protect overall crop integrity.

What to Expect:

  • Broccoli (field pack and florets) will remain limited as suppliers monitor availability closely.
  • Santa Maria is currently in better shape and may serve as a viable alternative to help fulfill orders.

We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership as we navigate these supply challenges together.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.

Thanks,

Ole Tyme Produce
