Broccoli Supply & Market Update

Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

The recent stretch of triple-digit temperatures across the growing regions is taking its toll on Broccoli production. High heat has slowed growth rates and reduced available supplies, with suppliers now reporting limited availability on all Broccoli including Broccoli Florets.

At this point, supplies are very tight across the board, and shippers are closely watching numbers and upcoming harvests. The current market is trending higher, and we expect this pressure to carry into next week as the heat continues to impact production.
