Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Celery supplies are expected to remain very tight in the near term as the industry moves out of the Oxnard season. Quality challenges are increasing, with pith, worm damage, and fusarium continuing to affect overall condition and pack-out rates. These issues are reducing yields on both field pack and processed celery, further limiting availability through May.

As a result, the market is expected to remain elevated, with pricing holding firm and the potential to trend higher as supply constraints continue.
