Affecting multiple crops
- Warmer temps have led to increased populations of aphids, thrips, small flies, and gnats.
- Thrips are particularly concerning as they transmit INSV (Invasive Necrotic Spot Virus).
- Some INSV signs are appearing, though it's not widespread yet.
- Growers are actively mitigating with traps, repellents, and increased field inspections.
