Last week’s heat wave in Salinas Valley caused short-term quality issues, especially in tender greens (Spinach, Spring Mix, Baby Leaf, etc.)
Texture and shelf life may be impacted.
Growers are dealing with mold, mildew, and soil diseases.
Overall quality remains generally good.
