Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

We wanted to share a market update, as we are currently seeing supplies tighten across several key items, including cilantro, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and baby leaf products. As a result, markets are beginning to trend upward.

The primary driver behind these conditions is planting gaps caused by rain events in late November and early December, which are now impacting current harvest windows. These gaps are leading to noticeable supply shortages, and the market is responding accordingly.

To manage availability through these gaps, suppliers are closely monitoring averages.

We anticipate continued market increases and expect pricing triggers to be reinstated on several items as the week progresses. We recommend planning accordingly and placing orders as early as possible to help secure product.
