Dear Ole Tyme Customers:
A hard freeze has ended production in North Florida and Georgia, leaving South Florida and Mexico as the primary supply regions. Persistent cool weather in both areas continues to slow harvests. Roma and grape tomatoes remain extremely limited, with daily sell-outs and elevated market prices. Cherry tomatoes are also tight, while rounds and greenhouse-grown varieties remain more stable.
Highlights:
- Supply: Roma, grape, and cherry tomatoes remain constrained; round supply is steady with larger sizes holding. Mexican volume is limited by cool temperatures and strong domestic demand.
- Pricing: Significant increases on roma and grape; minor upticks on smaller rounds.
- Quality: Overall quality remains strong across Florida, Mexico, and Canadian greenhouse programs.
Outlook:
Expect tight supplies and firm-to-higher pricing to continue through next week, especially for roma and grape tomatoes. Market relief will depend on warmer weather in Florida (forecast for late next week) and improving production from new Mexican growing districts.

Thanks,
Ole Tyme Produce
