Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

The industry-wide shortage on the blackberries and raspberries becoming even more acute. Shippers are extremely short on both of these items as we move into September. We are currently in a demand-exceeds-supply market situation. Numbers are expected to improve in weeks 37 and 38.

CEMEX numbers are very limited due to growing area transitions and seasonal quality issues.
Baja production will not see an increase in harvesting until late September.
We can expect fill rates and cuts to orders over the next 2 weeks.
Markets are elevated while shippers focus on covering contracts only.
