Lemons
Lemons
Tues, May 26th, 2026
Dear Ole Tyme Customers:
The lemon market remains elevated, driven by limited availability and continued strong demand. Supplies will be extremely tight through June, keeping pricing firm in the near term. Relief is expected beginning in July as offshore imports increase and help supplement the domestic supply.
Domestic
- District One (San Joaquin Valley) has moved past peak production and is winding down.
- District Two (Ventura County/Oxnard Region) is in full production and supplying the majority fruit.
- With there being far fewer growers in District 2, ALL sizes are extremely tight, with this being the main growing region.
- Expect extremely tight supplies and elevated markets to continue through June.
- Suppliers will be looking at averages beginning very soon.
Offshore
- Offshore lemons are expected to begin shipping late June into early July, running through early December.
- Size profile will lean toward larger fruit (95ct through 140ct), with some small sizes available.
- Pricing is expected to be higher than domestic fruit, supported by strong quality.

Thanks,
