Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Costa Rican pineapple growers are facing ongoing challenges due to heavy thunderstorms and poor field conditions, which are delaying harvests and limiting supply—especially for crownless pineapples, which are in high demand.

Tariffs have increased, and pricing began rising on August 17th
Market prices are fluctuating daily
Suppliers are prioritizing existing contracts and are not accepting new ones until conditions improve
Substitutions or prorated orders may be necessary
Mexican pineapples are available as an alternative, but pricing also varies daily
Tight supply expected through Labor Day and possibly beyond
