Strawberries

Thurs, June 5th, 2025

Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Harvest estimates continue to come in below projections across all growing regions due to colder-than-normal weather. Here’s what to expect:

  • Production remains limited in Salinas, Watsonville, and Santa Maria due to persistent cold temperatures.
  • Santa Maria shippers are diverting older Frontera plantings to processors rather than the fresh market, increasing demand pressure across all districts.
  • Availability will be extremely limited heading into this weekend and early next week.
  • Expect potential loading delays and order pushbacks, especially for Monday loadings.
  • We’ll continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as new information becomes available.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.

Thanks,

Ole Tyme Produce
