Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Market Update:
The strawberry market is heating up with rising prices as production in Salinas and Watsonville declines ahead of their late-September season end. Santa Maria’s new crop will ramp up over the next two weeks, but not fast enough to meet strong demand driven by school foodservice and aggressive retail promotions. Oxnard won’t see significant volumes until late August to mid-September. Please place orders early to help shippers plan.
